Itinerary
Day 1: Denpasar - Bedugal
Driving to the Bedugul mountain resort. stop at Pura Tamam Ayun royal temple, built in 1634, the main temple of the Mengwi kingdom. Then go to Sangeh Sacred Monkey Forest, and Tanah Lot Temple on its own island. In Bedugal, you’ll visit Pura Ulun Danu, and Git Git Waterfall. (L, D)
Day 2: Bedugal - Candi Dasa
Along the way to Candi Dasa, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of Mount Batur, Lake Batur. (B, L, D)
Day 3: Candi Dasa - Ubud - Denpasar
You’ll tour the artist colony of Ubud, Tenganan Village, Besakih "mother" temple, and Goa Gajah elephant cave, carved into the cliff face and offering inside a statue of Ganesh, the elephant god. Then go to a colourful market, Werdhi Budaya Art Center and Batik workshop and the Kememuh woodcarving studio. (B, L)
