Day 1:

Auckland - Wellington
On arrival at Auckland International Airport take the shuttle bus to connect with your afternoon domestic flight to Wellington. Once checked in to your Wellington hotel the rest of the day is your own.

Day 2:

|
Wellington
After a hearty breakfast spend the rest of the day visiting boutique wineries and tasting some of the finest wines in New Zealand.

Day 3:

Wellington - Picton - Kaikoura
After breakfast head for the inter-islands ferry that will take you across the Cook Strait to Picton where you’ll board an intercity coach to Kaikoura and your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore.

Day 4:

Kaikoura - Christchurch
Enjoy breakfast before setting off to the airport for an incredible ‘Wings over Whales’ scenic flight. If you’re lucky you’ll see sperm whales and dolphins — you might even catch sight of a Humpback or the mighty Blue Whale — and you’re guaranteed some amazing mountain views. Back on earth, you’ll transfer to a coach for the trip to Christchurch.

Day 5:

Christchurch - Mount Cook - Queenstown
Breakfast at the hotel before leaving Queenstown and traveling north through the historic gold mining region of Kawarau River Gorge to the fruit-growing region of Cromwell. Then it’s on to Mount Cook National Park and Australasia’s highest mountain. The views across this spectacular alpine region will take your breath away.

Day 6:

|
Queenstown - Auckland
You’ll be picked up at the hotel after breakfast and taken to the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw for a cruise on beautiful Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak High Country Farm. Here you can enjoy a BBQ, relax and experience farm life. Watch sheep dogs in action, see sheep shearing, and get to know the farm animals. In late afternoon transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Auckland.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in your hotel before transferring to the airport.
